Expression and contrast: Klimenko’s vision

Yevhen Klimenko was born in 1994 in Dnipro. He studied at a theater-art school, then at the Kharkiv Academy of Design and the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, where he earned a master’s degree.

Since 2012, he has participated in group exhibitions and plein‑airs in Ukraine and abroad. His solo projects include the series “Visions,” “Metro.Zeitgeist,” “Circus,” and “Contemplation,” showcased in galleries in Ternopil, Kyiv, and Khmelnytskyi.

Klimenko’s style combines expressive color, contrasts of light and shadow, textured surfaces, and dreamlike motifs. He experiments with painting, graphics, collage, and digital media. His works are held in private collections in Ukraine, the USA, Germany, France, and the Czech Republic.

My art is a way to see dreams while awake. When colors turn into stories and texture becomes memory, a new reality is born.
